Anna T. Galas, MS
Anna T. Galas has worked as the NEXus Project Coordinator for the Western Institute of Nursing since December 2006. In this position, Anna provides expertise on the procedural implementation of NEXus – The Nursing Education Xchange to current and future members, as well as handling the daily operations of the project. In this time, membership has grown from 4 to thirteen members across the nation and is providing online course exchange opportunities to nursing doctoral students. Previously, she served as the Program Manager of the Nutrition Education Program for Oregon State University, Lane County Extension Service and as a Health Education Specialist for the Division of Health Awareness and Tobacco at the Florida Department of Health. Galas received her B.S. in Physical Education from the University of California, Davis and a M.S. in Exercise and Movement Science from the University of Oregon.

Two Universities in two different states, jointly offer online courses within one program area. Difficult but not impossible. How about ten universities in 7seven states offering courses within a program? Now you’re thinking about a deep and wide gorge. Do not fret. Others have successfully crossed the gorge and want to tell you about the bridge. Currently, 13 institutions across the nation share over 150 doctoral nursing courses a year with each other.
