Dawn L. Giannoni, PhD
Dr. Giannoni has been an educator for 25 years and in higher education for 15 of those years. Dawn’s Doctor of Philosophy degree was earned in Organizational Leadership, an Education Specialist degree in Brain Research, her Masters in Information Technology, and a Bachelor’s degree in Business. She is a published author, consultant, coach, innovator, leader, and dedicated teacher. Whole learning is her chief service but also her personal life-long purpose. Dawn’s core belief is that it is not simply academic or career accomplishments that earns us happiness in life but it is in serving others in achieving their goals.
Dr. Giannoni serves as an Academic Department Chair for the Kaplan University IT School. She also teachers in the Master’s IT courses. Dr. Gia, as her students often call her, also teaches and coaches students in Brain Research and Leadership Courses in the Doctoral Programs for Nova Southeastern University, and Doctoral Courses in Leadership for Concordia University.
Dawn’s research interests are in organizational leadership, neuroscience in learning and leadership, information systems and technology, and faculty development and advancement. Special research interests are Asperger’s and Autism Studies, and Studies in Communications, Consciousness Development, Kindness, Knowledge Management, and Cultural Advancement through Servant and Authentic Leadership.
