Robert L. Moore
UNC-Chapel Hill School of Government
Robert Moore is the lead instructional designer with the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Government Instructional Support team and has worked at UNC since 2004. He joined the Instructional Support team in September 2010 after spending 5 years managing the UNC Foreign Language Resource Center. In his current position, Robert collaborates with faculty on integrating innovative technology to support their instruction in face-to-face, online, and blended instructional environments. Robert holds a Bachelors of Arts in Political Science from UNC and has completed various trainings and certificates in distance learning, including the LEARN NC Online Instructor course and was a 2011 UNC Center for Faculty Excellence Future Faculty Fellow. He is currently pursuing a Masters degree in Instructional Technology through East Carolina University with an expected graduation date of Summer 2013.

The UNC School of Government (SOG) provides training and continuing education to local and state public officials in North Carolina. One way that the SOG is able to fulfill its mission is through its distance education offerings, which include webinars and e-learning modules. The Instructional Support team within the SOG Information Technology Division is responsible for this service and has offered it more than 100 times.
