Recorded: Wednesday, April 17th, 2013 @ 1:00 pm - 1:40 pm HST
Duration: 40 minutes
Several researchers and research groups have conducted studies on the growth and quality of online education programs. Researchers have collected data from administrators, faculty, students, and hiring managers on their thoughts, experiences, and perceptions (Adams & DeFleur, 2005; Adams & DeFleur 2006; Adams, DeFleur, & Heald, 2007; Carnevale, 2007). This general session will explore perceptions of online education from employers, college administrators, faculty, students, and the general public. Presenters will discuss past findings, as well preliminary results from their own experience, and recently completed research study.
