Technology Changes Everything: Instructional Technology at Ashford University
Recorded: Wednesday, April 17th, 2013 @ 7:00 am - 7:20 am HST
Duration: 20 minutes
The student experience has been molded so that students now have the ability to apply digital literacy within the classroom. We have integrated cutting edge technology into our courses and have had an overwhelmingly positive response from students, faculty, and administrators. This interactive approach has engaged our students, promoting ample opportunity for collaboration and critical thinking.
This session will explore best practices developed to support student success with instructional technology. The purpose of the presentation is to demonstrate emerging educational technologies in terms of assessment, accessibility, and substantial supplemental materials. We would like to showcase a collaborative curriculum development process and digital assessment measures. The accessibility of our mobile app, e-texts, embedded multimedia, and voice thread capability will also be explored. Possibilities for future development of these resources will be reviewed, and we welcome a conversation for suggestions of improvement.
