The virtual environment, Second Life©, is being used to train people with traumatic brain injury (TBI) in employment skill building. The EmployAble Project is a two year grant funded by the Kessler Foundation and located at the Center on Disability Studies (CDS) at the College of Education, University of Hawaii at Manoa. A full virtual environment training area has been constructed along with an accompanying web-based learning module. A demonstration of how the training is being applied and used, will be the basis of the presentation.
